The Tech

Power Built Into the Fabric

ION Sportswear is powered by ZnTech™, with elemental zinc embedded directly into polymer-based yarn during manufacturing – for example, Polyester, Nylon, Polypropylene. Not coated onto the fabric surface. When the garment comes in contact with skin and moisture, it generates passive microcurrent that activates continuously during wear and becomes more effective as activity increases.

ZnTech™ promotes increased localized blood flow, with thermography studies showing increased skin temperature (circulation) compared with control garments over 1–3 hours. Improved circulation supports oxygen and nutrient delivery, metabolic waste clearance, and recovery readiness. In wear studies, participants also reported enhanced performance and recovery with reduced muscle fatigue.
